Organic Potatoes
Seed potatoes are easy to plant and even easier to grow. Weed and hoe often for best results and it is best to plant them in larger organic gardens. Planting potatoes with your other crops will often help discourage some insects and children love digging potatoes in the fall.
To get more potatoes, you buy the seed early, cut up the potatoes into pieces with at least one eye on it. Let them dry for a week spread out on paper or a towel. Plant in individual holes, and be sure to hill later, as the potatoes are formed as tubers at ground level. They will stay green if exposed to the sun and will be poisonous.
